Character Setup Tutorial
So, you have the character you’ve always wanted to use in a Zelda environment, or at least, the idea for it, but what do you do to get it setup? Well, this is the Tutorial for you.
Connect as a guest by typing ‘connect guest guest’ without the quotes. When you arer ready to request a character, type @request then hit enter. It’ll bring up a menu-type deal that’ll ask you for a few things, like your character’s name, gender, all that kind of thing. Back when I started on here, we had quite a few choices for races, which you can look up (type “news species” without the quotes to go into detail for commonly used races), but you can have whatever race found in Zelda games that you desire.
It’s also a good idea to get a good description of your character, and by that, I mean something like what he/she looks like and whatnot, but be creative. Lastly, give your character a background. Something like where your character was born and who in the family raised him/her would be a good start, but be as creative as you can with your character’s background.
When you get done with that, then you type “1″ without the quotes and hit enter. One of the staffers on here that are responsible for character requests will take care of your request ASAP.
When one of the staffers gives your character a thumbs-up, you’ll be sent an email with your character’s name and a password to log on. It’s suggested that when you get said email and log on, you change your password. Then it’s off to role playing on Triforce MUCK! Hope to see you on!
